Benefits of 1st Lieutenant Promotion

If you are unsure if you want to spend the time getting your squad promoted and yourself promoted to 1st Lieutenant, here are some of the bonuses you can receive upon promotion.

Squadron members receive chemistry which gives them a chance to bring back materia (DoL and DoH materia. Haven't seen combat materia yet. Do not know which grades).


Access to Priority Missions - Can do one per week.
Priority mission rewards include (in sets of 5 each):
Priority aetheryte tickets. 40% fee reduction for 120 minutes
Gear maintenance manual. 30% gear wear reduction for 120 minutes.
Rationing Manual. 15 minute increase on food effects for 120 minutes
Spiritbonding manual. +3 spirit bond for 120 minutes
Engineering manual. 20% EXP from crafting for 120 minutes
Survival Manual. (same as above for gathering)
Battle Manual. +15% EXP from battle for 120 minutes
Gold Saucer VIP Card. +15% MGP for 120 minutes
Priority Seal Allowance. +15% increase in Grand Company Seals from Grand Company duties.

Each Priority mission requires 540 or 560 points in at least one of the categories and 2,000 seals to deploy the squad.

I've received 7 grade IV (4) Mind materia from my last Mission.
You can also get Scrips and Gil.

You only need to meet two of the three requirements to have a good chance of completing them, which is easy.

What kind of scrips can we get?

I'm not sure meeting 2 of the 3 requirements gives a "good" chance of completing them.
Almost all the missions I went on when meeting 2 of the 3 criteria ended in failure. Maybe I just had bad luck?

I've read somewhere it's Blue Scrips.

Also, at first lieutenant, you can buy from the GC the new coat and hat/helm for Glamouring and you can buy the Contemporary Warfare books to manage your Squadrons classes freely.

My sample is too small. But I have 4 characters that did all the missions simultaneously. And I did all of them with two of three stats at the requirement. Usually 1 out of 4 failed, making it a 70-80% chance.

My last mission gives me 208 blue gatherer's scrip, and still not sure if the scrip is random or not.

Has anyone found any information about 1st Lieutenant in multiple Grand Companies? Ie: can you be and how the promotion system would work in another GC since it's been previously mentioned that your squadron comes with you if you change.
