    Adjusted Rath Rotation for 4*

    Hello everyone!

    How are you all?

This is my first post here and I wanted to share my adjusted version of the Rath Rotation with you.

The Adjustment isn't that big I only used one more Piece by Piece in the rotation. The reason for it is that it will give me 7 free stacks of Maker's Mark to use to find more good condition or to have extra Hasty Touch.

You only need to get to 1695 to be able to close the item with two Careful Synthesis 2 without Ingenuity 2, and if you reach 1855+, you can have one more Hasty Touch before the third Steady Hand 2 instead of Careful Synthesis 2.

For every good you get you can use Precise Touch or Basic Touch instead of Hasty Touch.

I hope this rotation help anyone in need of it.

P.s. Make sure you to keep an eye on progress when using Flawless Synthesis because you could close it with the use of PBP and FS.

I've actually been working on several Rath's variants lately as well, to try and find one that is definitively better than the default one. I'm just going to dump them all here in case someone finds them useful. You'll notice they all have an extra CZ in the flawless synth phase which is something I'm experimenting with, that extra 14cp opens up some interesting possibilities. This is only possible because the flawless synth phase in 4* recipes are so long - so these are only applicable to 4* crafting.

12 touches - This one is similar to your idea of using PbP. If you use a 3rd PbP + 1 CSII to complete the craft like in yours (2 actions), you gain 10 durability compared to someone who needs 3 unbuffed CSIIs to complete it (default Raths) which potentially can be an additional touch and thus more quality. This is basically the same idea, except instead of paying 15cp for that PbP to save one step, it's paying 32cp to complete it in 2 CSIIs and buff the Bryegots as well.

12 touches - Basically thinking that if a 15cp PbP does the same job as a 32cp Ing2 in cutting down one step, why not go with the former and find a better use for the leftover 17cp? This one as you can see is still unfinished as I'm trying to work Innovation into it - I need to stall for one turn for CZ as you can see, in order to have enough cp to use Bryegots, if anyone finds a solution I'll be glad to hear it.

14 touches (2 outside SH) - This one probably looks the closest to default Raths, except I went in the opposite direction and instead of trying to complete the item in less synthesis actions to gain more touches, I added an extra Waste Not to just outright gain more durability.

The default Rath's rotation for comparison is a 12 touch rotation (1 outside SH), with the option to additionally use Innovation/Ing2 to buff Bryegots if you're working with max cp levels - to be fair. Although in practice I consider it more of a 11 touch rotation really - if you have 1005~craftsmanship or less, failing even a single flawless synth in the starting phase will mean you need 3 CSIIs to complete which means only 11 hasty touches.

Also, here is my data on how much Bryegots hits for in different conditions, just for reference for anyone wanting to evaluate the effectiveness of these skills. I had 961 control when I recorded this.

I use almost the exact rotation of the op. My only change is that the last 2 hasty touches are used for innovative touches as needed(if the one one succeeds then the second will be a hasty or a basic). It's practically guaranteed to get at least 1 ToT to fuel this over the first 20 flawless steps

OP, I use almost the same rotation. Due to the extra FS steps available to be used ToTs and FS breaks, I also re-trigger Comfort Zone in the middle of the FS stage. This grants me at least 1 extra CZ for the rotation as a whole. If the good procs happen often enough, I can squeeze in a 4th CZ.

Very interesting stuff! I'll have to check this stuff out to see how things change. I'm particularly curious about the x3 PbP +FS.

Put only 2 piece by piece and add whistle to the start and nymeia's wheel to the end and that's basically what I do, sometimes with a trained hand or innovative touch in the middle.

I recommend doing that if you're using maker's mark anyway, as it will give you 2 to 3 extra hasty touches due to nymeia's wheel (as well as extra CP).
