A fatal directx error has occurred(11000002)and blocked from accessing graphics hardw

My game crashes all the time because of those 2 problems. On direct x11 and 9.I tried everything i could find(Forums,reddit,google etc.).This didn't occur with the launch of Heavensward.It started after the first or second major patch(Dont really remember because i stopped at that time and resently resubbed hoping i wouldnt have the same problem)It doesnt happen to other games or apps only FF XIV.
Any help would be appreciated.

You might want to try updated your graphics drivers. I had this issue too, but it went away with the most recent NVIDIA driver update for me.

Additionally, I went to the NVIDIA control panel and set "Power management mode" to "Prefer Maximum Performance"

Maybe try that to see if it works for you?

do you have anything else running at the time? try making sure FFXIV is the only program open. Also get the newest graphics drivers. Does playing it in borderless window help at all? Trying to narrow it down.

Are you running an AMD FX CPU Processor by chance?

Same error , all drivers updated , all reinstalled , tried everything suggested , nothing works .

Tdr delay didnt help me so i did the Tdr level and i had only 1 random crash in a few days of playing.
Not an answer to me just a random thread i found while searching.

1. What is the make and model of the computer?

2. Did you update the graphics card from the manufacturer website?

I suggest you to check for Windows updates available if any. Install all pending update on the computer and install the latest available graphics card for Windows 10 from the manufacturer website. In case you still face the issue refer the below steps.

TDR checker monitors the computer’s hardware, particularly the GPU, is say the GPU stops responding with the computer for 2 seconds TDR checker restarts the driver. As a GPU can stop responding sometimes.

I suggest you to exit all Windows based programs and try the below steps to check if it helps.

1. Type regedit in the Search box, and then select regedit.exe from the results above. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

2. Browse to and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002 (sometimes called ControlSet001) \Control\GraphicsDrivers

3. On the Edit menu, click New, and then select the following registry value from the drop-down menu specific to your version of Windows (32 bit, or 64 bit):

For 32 bit Windows
Select DWORD (32-bit) value.
Type TdrDelay as the Name and click Enter.
Double-click TdrDelay and add 8 for the Value data and click OK.

For 64 bit Windows
Select QWORD (64-bit) value.
Type TdrDelay as the Name and click Enter.
Double-click TdrDelay and add 8 for the Value data and click OK.

4. Close the registry editor and then restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
This puts a delay on the tdr checker of 8 seconds thus the GPU can stop responding for 10 seconds, usually this fixes the problem, if you are still suffering from this issue (after updates or a reinstall of drivers, you know all that annoying driver stuff)

5. Then do this, do the same thing but instead of "TdrDelay" type "TdrLevel" enter the data value as 0 (it is set to that natively, but double check) then delete the TdrDelay

6. Restart the computer.

I also noticed that if i have mozilla firefox open with a lot of open tabs then the crashes were more frequent.
