Magitek Mayhem Circuit Idea

I would like too see a battle/racing content involving Magitek Armor and here are some suggestions.











To elaborate on the frames concept. The Shiva Magitek Frame would have Ice Beam, Ifrit Frame would have Fire Beam, and Titan would have an Earth Beam. The differences between frames doesn't end there though. Which I will iterate on in the image below the multiple frames image.



You see the word Iron Skin in the image below. This points to the possibility of different frames having different strengths and weaknesses. For example, Titan could have a physical damage reduction trait, but he would be more inclined to take more damage from Magical skills. Titan might have more resistance to knockdown or knockback due to it's size, but It could result in smaller thruster(sprint sessions) output. Where as Garuda might have a skill called Wind Turbine which allows it to charge it's thruster engine but lack in other areas.









The mock up diamonds in the UI fill by certain mechanics.

• You fill up the red diamond by dishing out damage similar to a limit break bar.
• You fill up the blue diamond overtime by picking up chest amongst the battle field.
• You fill up the green diamond by taking damage and picking up enough chest throughout the race so that the green bar is not completely exhausted.

I want feedback on how to make this concept more interesting and feedback on what would need to be implemented to make you want to participate in it as well as what kind of rewards or progression would be nice to see.

The main lore problem with this concept though is that it was specifically stated that the magitek armour's weapon systems are permanently broken due to Cid, Biggs and Wedge substituting an Eorzean mammet heart in place of a necessary Garlean component - Jessie did all she could to restore the weapon systems online but all it did was make them for show, they cannot actually deal damage. The Ironworks lack the components necessary to repair a magitek armour to full power (that's why they had to use the mammet heart in the first place), so upgrading it just wouldn't be possible I'm afraid.

However, I admit this idea would be fun, but I think rather than just concentrating on the magitek armour, some kind of mount jousting would work better (because, after all why just concentrate on the magitek armour? We have a wide variety of different mounts, why cast all them aside just in favour of one particular one?). Either way, your idea with a bit more tweaking could be really fun.

Even if i dont fully support your concept I agree that make some content where we can use the mounts to jousting other players (or something like that) could be immensely fun, like the expontaneus mount wars that erupts in iddyllshire (like the legendary fatchocbo vs magiteck mounts in leviathan)

This might be a bit too complex for what the game has now, as amazing as it is. maybe something simpler like using the weapons to bump other players out of an arena? Last man standing deal? Like any way the wind blows but more fun.
