Thread: Make XIV great again! 4.0

What are your top 3 suggestions to make XIV feel fresh, and great, coming into 4.0?

1. Challenging achievements in dungeons. No party member getting hit by plumes in Titan, speed runs, no party member getting hit by the big orb thing in Amdapor etc etc

2. Gear stats need a major underhaul. Return them to 1.0 with the interesting stats.

3. Sometimes quantity beats quality. 2 dungeons for 3 months is not okay. I'd not care if you redid 6 old dungeons with stronger mobs, a few new mechanics and harder hitting bosses. In the end your '2 new dungeons' are just the same as any other.

Hmm,

1. Build a Wall Around Ishgard and make them pay for it.

2. Total and complete shut down of Lala's entering Eorzea

3. Put all current Lala's in Eorzea on a registry

Every time I see a PLD LB3 I just think of this segregating wall lol.

1. Special boss dropped materia with very unique stats on them.

2. Savage raids having a chance at spawning a rare second room with an optional boss / challenge. I would like to say this boss gives the players a chance to double their rewards for that floor but maybe op. Having a surprise new room with a randomly generated "optional boss" would always be exciting. (Exit still appears for those who do not wish to tackle the new challenge)

3. Re-implement battle regime to fit within current battle frame work. Have it work on threshold measures like some of the skills that require to boss to be sub 21% hp to activate. I've always had a image of how this could be implemented using current game resources but I never had the guts to post it here lol.

This could've been a nice touch on a12s, with the time-warping theme, to suddenly get transported back to one of the old coil fights at random and having to complete it at the old ilvl. Would've added a bit of nostalgia, and reminded us all that those fights weren't always the joke they are today unsynced hehe. you'd have to have a rough knowledge of all of them, as you wouldn't know which fight you'd get sent back to each time

I never said that. I don't think you understood what I said. It's locker room talk. We should really be focusing on the real problems of the world, like the Lala's.

What have I sacrificed you asked?
Well, I successfully completed A10S yesterday, and have lots of gil and a house in the mist. So, yes, I've sacrificed a lot.
