Can Cash Shop be a bit more reasonable

Can the prices of the cash shop be a bit more reasonable it's a bit outrageous to have to pay $30 for a mount when you can buy a game for $15-$60

everything needs to be like 50% off lol it's really unappealing to new/returning players. And if it cheaper you'll get more customers which will increase $$$

Well...whales will be whales.

They're pretty much trying to combine the F2P with the P2P model by having the sub fee for everyone and the extras for the whales - It ensures the game has no "leechers" that don't pay at all, unlike the normal F2P model while still retaining the extra profits that make F2P viable in the first place.

Quite interesting that it works, really. But then again, WoW did it before IIRC.

The problem is, I think Square Enix could have charged $100'000 for the Far Eastern attire and some people would STILL have bought it. Some people are willing to pay what to most people look like eye-watering prices, and thus, Square Enix will keep doing it. It's extra revenue for them, and as a company they exist to make money...

It's a shame that the model for extra content embraced by the developers of The Witcher 3 hasn't become standard in the gaming industry. Sadly people will parrot the excuse that 'businesses exist to make money' with little regard to the fact that businesses can make plenty of money without resorting to dubious business practices.

I'm lucky enough to have a disposable income but I dislike the rate at which new, exclusive items are being added to the game. Whilst optional collectors of glamour, minions and mounts will feel obligated to purchase them and Square Enix are well aware of that.
