Sophia EX loot "bug"

Hi, i wanna notice people from "bug" and the worst isn't a bug. After training a week in raid finder and know the strat and gain practise, now im farming Sophia and im sure i'll take the lance to beat her 10 times. But today when we beat her there are other Dragoon but this one have and equiped the sophia lance so i thought, "great finally i can get my new weapon!" but what is my surprise when the other dragoon who has already the same weapon, pick for it and gain, so two lances for him and no one for me. In all other content if a character had an specific weapon he can't able to get the same again but with sophia is different i see, why? i would at least a logical SE explanation,because at first look, isn't logical.

You can't hold 2 of the same Sophic Weapon, however if they had a different weapon with a Sophic glamour and did not actually have the primal weapon I their inventory, it would allow them to loot it.

Indeed, it's a very annoying "loophole" that allows you to get as many copies of a unique gear item as you have places to store it (retainers mainly). Hopefully they will introduce a system in the future that puts a mark on the server's player data that prevents rolling on multiple copies of items like this.

Yeah, they must have glamoured it and put the original in a retainer. I've found myself with multiple copies of old primal weapons that I didn't know about, because I had one on a retainer. I can't think of a reason that someone would do that on purpose though.

Not with Sophia weapons, no - but a lot of gear/weapons can be desynthesized or exchanged for GC-seals. Another possibilty would be ofc to get a proper weapon for your retainer
