    So.. I have been away a while and I have still yet to learn anything about Crysta, the help directs me to donate it, other than that...?

    Crysta is a MT currency issued by Square-Enix and is usable with their games. Think of it as a gift card, redeemable only with Square-Enix services.

    I don't know why you're donating it, but you can gift it to other players and know they won't be spending it on anything outside SE's wholesome community.

    IMO it's incorrect to label Crysta as 'RMT' (Real Money Trading) since that acronym is universally used to refer to illegal third-party activity concerning in-game currencies like Gil and Crysta can't be used IN GAME, it can only be used to pay for items in the Mog Station.

    The term 'MT' (Micro Transaction) could conceivably apply but since it's not in-game then again it's not really appropriate.
