Poll: What Weapon-Types would you like added to XIV?

Several of these desired weapons are actually already in the game, but not in the form players wish - scythes are a BTN's secondary tool, and hammers are a BSM's tool. Additionally, gunblades are already equippable by players, but they are not a specific class weapon (Lightning's gunblade the Blazefire Sabre for instance is a GLA/PLD weapon, and several MCH weapons are actually gunblades if you take a close look at their barrels it's clear they have a long blade running along the barrel and beyond the muzzle - here's some examples.)

Hence I don't think you will ever see these become their own unique classes for this reason.

Yeah but don't forget, GLD/PLD use to have daggers as weapons before ROG/NIN was added.

All that does if make a Gunblade job more likely. The probability of a 2edgy4u Reaper Job using scythes are zilch since inlike the Gunblades which were only used on 1 PLD sword and a few MCH guns, the Scythes are used for 100% of the BTN's offhands.

Hammers on the other hand have several types already plus none of them are Warhammers so that is also more possible than scythes

As an I aside I put my vote in for mystical weapons, whips, fans and rapiers (most of which I see tied to certain Jobs like Fans for Dnacer and Rapiers for Mysic Knight and/or red Mage)
