    i2501 error leads to accusation of RMT

    I started off this Character on Ixion when I was doing a degree in England. Now that I have moved back to China, I still want to enjoy the community friendship that I have built. However, an i2501 error which prevents me from using crystal to buy sub (The last purchase of 3000 Crystal has 2400 left even now)
    Then the Customer Service has been giving me totally prefunctory replies and then an accusation of me using RMT action. Then obviously due to certain "policy" no reason was given and now I ended up here trying to gain the eyes of the community to seek alternative solutions
    After numerous of argue I gave up for a while until ytd someone told me that I'm not the only one who encountered this issue. I have passed the stage of upset but only trying to seek the slight chance of lifting my block
    I attached some pictures of the emails that between me and the customer service, hope someone who shares the same concern would together find a way to get back to the Realm of FFXIV again

    The actual user who suffers from this issue is actually ID jamiro kumai on Ixion who is an irl friend of mine. I'm just helping him out of posting this. Myself actually also suffered once of i2501 but resolved by having another friend of mine in Melbourne bought me a 60 days gamecard.

    Honestly it not only your problem. In my Freecomany, there are already 3 players restart their game with a new account (which not an EU account) and new character because the i2501 error. Before that, they had try to communicate with the support team. And the EU support team required their information and VPN info, finally they received a mail from the support team said that because they are not in EU region they can not help more and suggest them to play in China server. Which made me feel really angry, and my friends all feel upset. Not only them, there are 2 players which start play ff14 in 2013 just like you, meet the same problem too. And they are afraid to communicate with the support team because these players who already tried but get the bad result.

    I'm having the same i2501 problem with my subscription expiring in 5 days. I started playing FFXIV in France in 2013, and came back to China in August 2015 after my studies. I bought ARR and HW in physical CE and yes, I use physical One-Time Password. I bought every merchandise (CDs, books, toys, etc) of this game using my own account. I never use any RMT. I tried adding crysta with my own paypal account and adding gametime card which I bought using my own Amazon account, but none of them works. And today I see this heartbreaking thread... I just cannot understand why they do not allow me to play here anymore. I fully support your idea about writing to Yoshi-P.

    In my opinion, I think it is really ridiculous that the support team suggest players who from china to play in china server and give us some reasons like using RMT action or some other reasons. I understand their policy that not allow player to trade their account, however there is serious internet problem in China, and almost all of players who want to play ff14 need to use the VPN to link to the server or mogstation. So I understand the Ip address changed too often, but RMT action? I cant understand how they get this answer and without any evidence.

    Also we started to play ff14 before they bulit a server in China. We bought the game, and pay fees every month. We love this game, and spend a lot of time with our friends and enjoy this game. Now, the error i2501 changed every thing. And it is only appeared in Eu account which is so funny. I think we really need protect our account. I dont know what happened in Eu team but I dont agree with their ways to do this even though I guess it is good for control RMT.

    We need let people know. Recently I m thinking about write a letter to Yoshi-P. Because it looks we have no choice and so many players give up. And write these replies here? no one care...

    Our account and character really means a lot to us. I feel really sad because some of players who gave up, they love this game so much. And one of my friend told me that her character is her treasure before she met the error and can not add time card into the account. And I know they obey the game rule and never do suspicious actions. Even me, I faced twice i2501 before, but i m lucky because i m not in China now. But when I go back to China, is there will be one day I must give up this game? I cant imagine that...
