Wedding Quest Bugged out (Cedric Thymaevaras x Inferialis Sager) 12.10.2016

Good Evening Support Team of FF14,

my Partner and me having problems Starting the Quest "The Ties that Bind", we're matching all the Requirements:

- Players must first complete the main scenario quest 'The Scions of the Seventh Dawn'
- You must be in a party of two with your partner
- You and your partner must be equipped with promise wristlets
- You and your partner must both be in the East Shroud
- You and your partner must both annul any pre-existing bonds before accepting the quest

My Partner has started the Quest once with someone else but it should be annulled properly since the other Person left the Server a longtime ago.

We still cant accept the Quest please help, thanks!

No ffxiv support will look at these forums unless they moving topics, therefore posting your ticket number is not needed.

To your problem, just because a person left the server doesn't mean the bond between them is broken/removed. Have your partner check if he still has the old bracelet, if so, equip it and speak to the npc, to abandon the quest. if he doesn't have the bracelet anymore, have him search for all clothes that are from the wedding he had prior (regular/plat) including the retainers. If any of the items are still left, delete, than speak with the npc after. Make sure the quest log doesn't show the old quest anymore, if it still does abandon it via npc. now equip the new bracelet, form a group etc, speak with the npc again. That should fix the issue and the quest should be available after that.
