So after reading the Encyclopædia a bit something dawned upon me.

I expected it to fully dismiss my Mhach = Mhigo theory.

Instead it.. kinda supports it. to a degree.

It specifically mentions the Bela'dians to be of the "lalafellin heirs of Mhach"
So the lalafells went south.
Highlanders come to Gyr Abania soon after mhachs destruction guided by a comet.

To go from Yafeam to Gyr Abania one has to pass through the black shroud
Ramuh is said to have come into existance when man came with axes and torches.
Ramuh looks a helluva lot like the statue of Rhalgr in Gyr abania. (also im curious, anything on why Ramuh got Ascian like wings?)

So if the lalafells went south and the Highlanders went east, following a comet, What if the statue of (supposedly) rhalgr in the void ark was a high mage of mhach, and that he later grew old by the time the highlanders reached the shroud, inspiring the sylphs to summon a "lord of levin" to punish those who opposed them.
