    Granted I'm not overly familiar with the Sophia being invoked (who varies quite a bit over time), so the references might be more obvious.

    I'm less certain about the idea that Sophia came first, though. If Eorzea is as special as everyone in Eorzea seems to think it is (and let's not dismiss the possibility of self-interest biases having an effect on our mythology), then all people and tales might have migrated out of Eorzea to begin with. The "seeds of faith" that led to Azeyma / Azim / Sophia might all have progenitors in an Eorzea during the Age of the Gods / Prehistory. We know too little about the age before the First Umbral Calamity to be too sure about anything.
