No, this is wrong. I literally just went and fact checked by making a new character. After deleting her, and then remaking her with the same name I wasn't blocked or made to change it.

BTW I have to ask, why don't you use a Fantasia, it seems like less of a hassle than deleing your charatcer, losing certain event items that you will never get back (like the Yo-Kai weapons/minions) and going thought the MSQ from the very beginning again

We did, it just wasn't called Poe's Law. Usenet was interesting when people tried and failed at sarcasm because with dead pan sarcasm it was often seen as trolling. The art is to use enough sarcasm so that people realize you're joking, without overdoing the dead-pan that convinces people you're serious. <vbeg>

The rules change on forums. You have to denote you're joking to make it a joke. That's the price you pay for a social medium devoid of visual cues and vocal inflection.
