It is probably because someone was used to taking #3 all the time (lets assume) expect this time he had to change his number and it got mixed in his head. It's a nice system, I just wish people would stop using the stupid 1-2-3-4 numbering for Sophia. Any group I have been in it has caused nothing but issues. And for some reason people are too stupid to remember to go to the person with the same mark as them.
Only wipes I had were with people using 1-2-3-4.
"BAAAAAARD!" - 2018
The issue I have with the 1234 mrthod is that I have a hard time noticing yhe small numbers on the symbols when everyone is clustered. I find it easier with no marks and just remembering my partner's name and going to them. But much more easier with different symbols as to spot them faster.

Still don't understand why the Raid Finder is even a thing; all that is being accomplished by putting it on a separate system is to ensure that fewer people even know about its existence and make parties take longer to form, thereby reducing the amount of people who bother with using the Raid Finder, thereby worsening the problem some more, etc.
I don't think the problem is not the remembering but that it is simply easier to look for a symbol that has a different share and colour than looking for a number where the symbols essentially look the same all the time. I have cleared sophia a lot of times with RF and the only times there have been issues was when the 1-2-3-4 method was used. Most people asked for pairs after the first wipe as it is nothing but a hassle.
Well, everyone has their preferences but I don't see the reason to change a good system (symbols) for a messy one like 1-2-3-4. Fortunately, most people I have been with on chaos seem to agree.
RF is available as soon as you have duties that are matched through it. What it does is make parties more efficient. Want to farm and your server is trash for PF (like mine), you don't have to be afraid to land with a first timer that probably watched no video or bothered to read up the strategy.Still don't understand why the Raid Finder is even a thing; all that is being accomplished by putting it on a separate system is to ensure that fewer people even know about its existence and make parties take longer to form, thereby reducing the amount of people who bother with using the Raid Finder, thereby worsening the problem some more, etc.
On the other hand as someone that looks to train, you get the security that you will be matched with people with the same goal and about the same level of experience.

I regularly see extreme trials on mentor roulette fail to complete even when there's no newbie bonus. If there is a difference I'm not convinced it's substantial enough to be worth noting.Being a bull to pick cleared over not cleared is a big diff.. And help a lot.
There is a difference between people running an EX fight they have been farming regularly over the past couple weeks, and running a fight that most of the party hasn't ran level synced since 3.0
You guys are all saying you cleared A9S through duty finder but is it good for training it from scratch ? Because if so im tempted to try since i can never find a static raiding during the hours im usually on. ( I mostly play during the night )
Try actually using the system before criticizing it, raid finder is amazing for current content, dozens of clears and 90% of them one shot.
If you play in odd hours I'd be surprised if you can find people, raid finder shines the most during the peak hour of your data center, whatever is EU peak hour.
Heard lots of people have managed to clear sophia EX with it, myself I still think that thing actually popping is a myth after several tries and I've gone back to using party finder.
