New player with a few questions.

Pet contributes about 30% damage. never use Summon II (your tank summon) in a dungeon don't be afraid to switch our your summon.

I certainly understand that. Anytime you use a tank pet in a group, you're wrong. I've noticed the Ifrit-egi is a bit more effective for damage, and seems to be better at not standing in AoEs.

use Virus before an enemy launches a massive attack

I've been using it just like that in dungeons. I also pop it if the tank seems to be taking more damage than the healer can manage to keep up with.

you can swiftcast raise

I did notice the raise skill, and certainly will revive downed players.


I'm quite glad I chose this class, it's quite versatile (reminds me of my Loremaster of LOTRO) and is genuinly enjoyable to play. Thanks to all who have responded, the help is most appreciated.
