what is the require acc for BRD and MCH in this new patch?

3.4 seems to have an Accuracy cap around 700~705 for BRD / MCH.
With 600 you,re going to miss a lot.

I would like some clarification on this as well.

I've had people tell me BRD/MCH share the accuracy cap with casters, which for A8S was around 593 or something like that. So they were speculating about 600 for A12S. But I have also read some posts on reddit from BRDs that during SSS striking dummy exercises, they were missing at anything below 700. I know tank accuracy is wanted to be around 705~710 for A12S (based on what my raider friends have told me), so maybe they were attacking the dummy from the front rather than the back.

I don't raid, but I have been giving some thought into starting, so I'm wanting to build a pseudo-BiS for my BRD and my DRK. But I want clarification on the accuracy caps first.

There's no way it's 593, that might be the caster accuracy cap (which is generally lower), but ranged does not share that accuracy cap.

It's looking like they didn't change the caps much or at all from Midas, in which case around 700~ for a12s seems to be the number people are throwing around.

Frontal acc is confirmed to be 699 for a8-12s.

I aim for tank accuracy as well. There are lots of times when you are attacking from the front. It's really annoying how they made bard a caster but treat us as physical. Things like accuracy caps and ravanas directional shields...

As bard I try to gear for frontal accuracy cause you never know when you will be hitting the boss from the front. You can get away with rear/caster(spells are always counted as hitting rear iirc) accuracy if you can keep on the rear all the time(lets just say nearly impossible). Flank accuracy works for most of the time so you would share that with melee. But yeah 700-ish or so works. My final set will be 705 with the 4 star omlette.

range and caster should be same cant remember the numbers its about 620-640 for casters and range, but you can go in stone sky sea and just try it out on your own.

PS: the BRD in my group has atm 580 acc and he never got more than just one miss in a10s so with ~620 you will be fine

also dont forget even you are a range or caster you still have a autoattack! so when during a fight you stack up close in front of the boss your autoattacks will miss because in this case you will need front acc but this miss can be ignored! i have try this as SMN xD when i get close enough to the boss he will try to hit with his book ^^ which is pretty cute because is really not doing significant damage
