How do you organize your glamour collection?

For those with huge gear collection, how many retainers do you feel is enough to cover your favorite sets?
Do you keep raid/dungeon gear checklists of what you still miss and where to find it?
Do you keep similar looking gear/recolors or just one of them?
Do you replace the original primals weapons with crafted glowy versions?
Do you organize gear by it's type (weapons, bodies..) or by a job (healer, tank..)?
Any other starter tips you want to share?

I keep them sorted by the outfit.. Example: the oufit i use for my Ninja is in the first row of my retainer (weapon, upper body, gloves, lower body, shoes, and the last spot is for the head piece, for the outfits that use them. Second row is for my whm, in that same order. Then my summoner, etc. Everything outside of those 6 columns and however many rows, is all the miscellaneous bits like event armor and stuff like that that dont belong in any particular outfit, but i keep them because they are irreplaceable, and they might look good with something eventually.

That being said, my glamour retainer is about to explode, i think i have maybe five empty slots left on her... I refuse to purchase another retainer and double my sub cost, and my first retainer is for all my crafting stuff.. which is also full...

in short.. the outfits are lumped together, everything else is a mess.

There is no organisation... they're thrown in wherever there is space. I have 4 full retainers already.

Not outrageously big into glamour but I enjoy it. Personally, I keep 4 retainers. 1) crafting mats stone, metal, cloth, lumber, and leather. 2) food, ingredients, and reagents. 3) anything misc like glamour prisms, dyes, fishing tackle, tokens, books, etc. and then my last retainer for all gear.

I have one retainer full of special clothes and I tried keeping them organized by outfit, but it became a hassle and I misclicked and sorted one too many times. I have another retainer holding trial weapons and I'm keeping it organized. Rows for trials and columns for the weapon. I have every dagger through Thordan.

Don't dig old wounds OP please. We never talk about rope in the hanged man's house. The game is just terrible in this regard. We wait for 4.0 in hopes that something might happen.

I have 3 retainers, one being for crafting mats and oje being dedicated to my more favored outfits, as well as prisms and materia. The third retainer is for misc outfits I don't use often or that I don't really need as much. I still have 8oakknots stored in her incase they ever become useful again.

The organization issue would be made a billion times better if we didnt have to have the items in our inventory to use them as glamour. I feel like, at least for myself, the bulk of my issues come from taking out a full outfit worth of glamour from my retainer, then glamouring it, then having to put it all back and make sure it all gets put back in its proper organized place...

If they simply allowed us to use items that are in our retainer for glamour, along with our inventory, it'd solve this problem.. >.>

I have 8 retainers, and my stuff is everywhere.

I only collect the good looking parts, mostly the body, head, and feet parts. Pants/trousers were thrown away (only keep skirts, short pants, and subligars). Sadly I can't collect everything.
