    Ball Gowns

    I would love to see more ball gowns added similar to the High House Bustle or the Gown of Eternal Devotion. Something along the lines of Midnight Mauve from Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. Thoughts?

    Definitely! Although there are a few more in the game than the High Houses/Rainbow Bustle and the wedding dresses, there's also the Riverina Dress (which is more a 1700's style day dress, but could be dressed up with a redye with metallic dye) and the Spring Dress and Skirt, which is an early 1800s/Regency-style day dress.

    I admit, I have my heart set on those gorgeous Late Medieval/Renaissance style gowns the noble ladies wear in Ishgard (complete with hennins too no less!). Please SE! Please add these beautiful dresses as character wear in the game!

    It would be really nice to have more high fantasy gear. We have so much of the modern pseudo-scifi already it's becoming a little aesthetically dull.

    +1 for more dresses and I agree that I so want the ones that the women in Ishgard are wearing. Just put them in the Gold Saucer with some male equivalent and everyone should be happy. And there are already so many things that are clipping, so I dont really care if this would clip badly too.

    Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
    A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
