Change HUD - Disciple of War - Disciple of Hand / Land

    Hello
I was wondering if anyone had a way of changing the HUD layout when switching from any disciple of war class to a disciple of the hand / land.
In addition to switching HUD layout i would like to change the icons / macros in hot-bars as well.
at the moment all my hot-bars are taken just to have all commands for all type of classes but i would like to have this cleaner or more use based.
    thank you for reading

Each hotbar can be set to "shared" or "class specific". I am not at home right now so I can't tell you exactly where it is though. If you set bar to "shared", actions/skill/shortcuts/macros etc on this bar will be the same for all classes. If you mark hotbar as class specific you can set for each class different things on it. I believe that hotbars 1-3 are set as class specific by default and the rest is global, but you can change it.

It's in user settings, hot bars. As for the different layout, you can nowadays have 4 (or was it 5) different layouts. You edit them in HUD Layout, found in the main menu or with command /hudlayout

If you use that comment with number as parameter '/hudlayout 2' for example, it switches to the said layout. If you make yourself a gearset macro, you can I same macro activate the gearset, switch hud to preferred layout, and possibly launch some skills you always want to have on anyway.

If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.

Hello and thx for your answers
that's pretty much what i was thinking, no matter what i do I'll have to refill all the non shared hot bars manually if I want this to work the way I'd like it to
not sure I've the courage to do so ^^:

I should share at least 2 bar for changing classes / hud means 4bars to fill manually for each class hmmm . worth thinking about it

I have only the immediate skill hotbars unshared. Since the skills are mostly different for every class anyway that makes sense. Even on the crafts where each class has technically same skills, apart from cross class skills they are different skills anyway. All other bars are shared.

You can actually make a macro that toggles the shared status of a skill bar. If you put it in the same spot in the shared skill bar, and all unshared ones, (of the same bar number) you can switch back and forth between shared and unshared on that bar.
