UI Request: "Search for Item" feature and Tome Gear

As far as I have noticed all tome gear has a normal/weathered version and a upgrade/augmented version. I think it would be a useful feature if we could "search for item" on either the normal or upgraded version, and the results would display the results for both versions in one search request.

This would be similar to the type of requests for normal gear, where it displays results for both NQ and HQ gear in the player inventories.

I feel that this would be a useful way for players to check if they already have the upgraded version, before unnecessarily spending tomes on the normal version (assuming they don't actually want a duplicate piece, of course).

Thank you for your time and consideration.

I did not know about that command. Thank you for letting me know. It still doesn't meet my request, but it is a good command to be aware of.

However, that command would be even more useful if it worked with the <link> feature. It would at least be useful for searching for certain gear sets. Does that command only work for one string, or can it look for items with multiple strings? For example "scylla's" and "casting," If I were searching for the casting set specifically.

I used the command exactly: /itemsearch healing
You can see on the list everything I own with the term Healing in the name of the item.
You can see that I do have some Hailstorm items that are Augmented and not augmented.
    Is that what you mean?

    ---Edit Starts here----
Ahh I see what you mean adding words to your search. No unfortunately the search works for the exact wording you put in. If I were to try [ /itemsearch gloves healing ] I would not get a result. However, if i tried [ /itemsearch gloves of healing ] it would then pull the items which say those words specifically in that order.

Very easy to test that question.

    *lots of items here*
[6:21 p.m.]14 matches found containing “augmented.”

    [6:21 p.m.] >>Augmented Primal Ring of Fending
[6:21 p.m.]1 match found containing “augmented primal ring of fen.”

[6:22 p.m.]No matches found containing “Augmented Fending.”

So you can include more than one search term, but it acts like the old market board where you can't break the context.

If you use multiple word search query, it needs to be put in quotation marks. Good thing is that that actually works like marketboard now. Your search string can be any part of the item names it doesn't need to be the beginning.

If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.
