The mainboard matters a lot, too. If what you list is a pre-built system, then chances are they are going to save money on the mobo, potentially crippling your system. As an example, my AMD board has a SB750 chipset, once i turn that one on, my windows boot takes me 30 seconds more to complete.

My MSAA is @ 4x and I've got no performance issues with a 260GTX, which is an older card
