No Tourneys in Duty...

Because tournies are a per server basis rather than data center based, is it not? There's no system where tournies take place across data centers.

The verminion one works across data center but still enters you into the local world tournament rankings. So yes, just points based rankings for each world regardless of which world your opponents were from.

Triple Triad tournament should not only do this, but make it the only way to play tournament matches against other players. Force it via the Duty Finder matchmaking to give a fair chance to everyone and eliminate the current system where only the people who beat their own alts can win.

And yes some form of chocobo racing should go up on the duty finder too, to be able to enter it from any location and play people from other worlds across the data center.
