How good is your rig

16GB DDR3 2400
EVGA 980Ti Hybrid @ 1515/7604
Samsung 950pro 256GB SSD
27" 2560x1440 96hz monitor

I've had this rig for over 5 years now. The only upgrade I did was gtx 680 -> gtx 980 -> gtx 980ti and the SSD.

I get 60-100 FPS everywhere on max settings.

Its been my game and school rig for several years with the Strix being picked up early this year due to issues with my HD7950s. It handles everything I need it to on demand so I see no need to upgrade it in the forseeable future.

I'm lame.. I just play on PS4. I have NO luck with computers and they always break no matter what the cost. And I take good care of my stuff, case in point. I had my PS4 for a year and no issues. And it hardly gets turned off.

Swapped my PC for a Vortex laptop few years back (mid 2013 maybe)

Runs the game at "almost" max settings 60fps dx11 in most places. can drop a little in the 24 man raids. or if I connect it up to my tv.
the only differences from max settings are the nvidia optimiser thing has changed my multisampling and depth of field a bit.

Probably not amazing by todays standards but definitely does the job and it's not very power hungry either. saves a fortune on electric

I've found that the improving the rig only has an effect upto a point, then it's down to the quality of the internet service and the game's latency.

I'm looking for a PC build that can play FFXIV at 1080p and 60fps anywhere. (never below 60fps)
So, if you can play at 1080p60, what are your build/settings?

(I play on PS4 and the framerates it now offers give me headaches. So I'm looking at PCs and because of the investment it might be, I want it to be a sustainable solution!)
