Has there been updates to naming your character

i created and atl named Thearesia Van-Astrea. before i was only able to use ' but now i can use - in names. is this new? i wish i could just put a space between van and astrea instead

Yes that's new since 3.4

Nothing about spaces, yet.

Hyphens were in the 3.4 patch notes:

Hyphens can now be used in character and retainer names.

* Hyphens cannot be used as the first character in a first or last name.
* Names cannot consist of two or more punctuation marks used in succession.

I can't see them ever adding spaces though sorry. It'd just be too confusing as other players wouldn't know which what the firstname and what was the last and typically even Earth names don't have spaces in them as spaces separate the names.
