Macroing Aetherial Manipulation is much faster than targeting someone and activating it, even without the action queue.

Code:
/ac (Aetherial Manipulation) <mo>
/ac (Aetherial Manipulation) <mo>
/ac (Aetherial Manipulation) <mo>
/ac (Aetherial Manipulation) <t>
/ac (Aetherial Manipulation) <t>
/ac (Aetherial Manipulation) <tt>
/ac (Aetherial Manipulation) <tt>
/ac (Aetherial Manipulation) <2>
/ac (Aetherial Manipulation) <3>
/ac (Aetherial Manipulation) <4>
/ac (Aetherial Manipulation) <5>
/ac (Aetherial Manipulation) <6>
/ac (Aetherial Manipulation) <7>
/ac (Aetherial Manipulation) <8>
/micon (Aetherial Manipulation)

However, in regards to Sophia EX, you shouldn't use Aetherial Manipulation on slides that also have the Daughter's beam attack -- the normal delay between the time you cross your arms and the time your action locks on to a target's position will put you right in the beam and give you a vulnerability stack.
