BLM in Sophia Ex

Just a small tip for any BLMs struggling with Sophia Ex.
Use your Aetherial Step.

Black/White:
Make a macro and step directly to your partner.

Arena Tilt + Knockback moves:
Step to partner to cancel the sliding effect. As long as you haven't fallen off yet, the step will stop you from falling further.
Even if they fall off, this will save you as long as the step kicks in. Just remember to wave /goodbye to your partner as you watch him fall off.

.....Well if your partner is already dead, you're out of luck....

I'm not entirely sure if there's a way to tell the game to target your focused target? because if you could do that then you could just focus target your partner and do it that way.

Edit: After a quick search, I've found out that going to your focus target is <f>

so your macro should go

Just make sure to actually focus target your partner before the fight and each time they/you get rezzed

Or have it set to parry list i think its just their number in tle list <4> <5> then you don't have to focus target them

I don't advise putting it in a macro. The skill is very useful, but your target will not always be the same person

well if you have it set to
(bear with me i'm too lazy to type out aetherial manipulation twice)
/ac "blahblah" <mo>
/ac "blahblah" <f>

Then it will target whomever your mouse cursor is currently resting over first, and your focus target second, so you can choose who your target is, or you can just let it default to your focus target.

Change your controller mapping to have L3 and R3 activate macro #98 and #99 respectively. I put AM on my right stick macro and it works wonders.
