That makes more sense. But then how do we communicate if you're in a dungeon? I guess some new type of temporary chat?I'm sorry, it seems there is a misunderstanding.
Here is the meaning.
We put the recruitment information in PF.
We list a departure time.
We wait for it to fill up.
During this time the person who set the recruitment cannot do things like summon a chocobo, join a party, go to dungeons, do any Duties or instanced quests. This here is the problem.
Other people who joined the party can do anything else they want, because they didn't make the recruitment. Also, because the departure time is listed, they know when to return.
Party fills up.
Departure time arrives.
Everyone gathers and leaves.
Like I mentioned, the people who join are free to do anything they want.
The person who makes the recruitment is not. This is the problem I am talking about.
Actually, I guess this would be best served as something new, and not changes to PF. Some kind of "event planner."

Yes, I agree. This is the kind of idea I had. I didn't know how to describe it.
Event planner is the perfect description.
I was thinking, a notice board in the game, where people can post their events. People can check it and apply to events.
When the event party is full, everyone who applied is notified.
Then, a message can appear on their screen 30/10/5 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
At the specified time everyone gathers. This allows the event manager to do something else while they wait for the party to fill up.

They could make a separate PF chat, which would then allow you to tell people "hey, I'm just finishing up a dungeon!" Basically, make it like a separate party. Would be a great QoL feature, I think.
