Would WHM be too strong with some support utility?

I've been saying it for a while...
Give Stoneskin an in-battle proc, off of whatever ability(an overcure proc, Crit cure whatever, random Stoneskin) that gives an in-combat Stoneskin 2 use. It would easy to develop for SE and it would be great to have in game. Easy fix for everyone.

As for offensive buffs...
Give WHM an ability like Bane. Give us the ability to spread our DoTs instantly. Aero 1 and 2 would be so much better if they didn't have to waste so many CDs to put on a group of mobs.
As for party wide dps buffs, maybe give PoM a party wide AoE affect like Medica 2. Maybe give Asylum or one of the other insta-cast abilities a buff with it.

As for the OP, no, WHM wouldn't be too strong with more party-wide support.

SCHs only DPS because they can maintain it, otherwise WHM brings the highest burst DPS of the three. A main healer may not DPS that much, but there are always times when they can contribute. Burst heals and personal DPS are the only thing that WHM actually have over AST at the moment, so it's not completely out of line wanting buffs in that area.

I don't particularly agree with gehrtalert's buff suggestions, but all healers are diverse enough to see buffs in various aspects of their toolkits. WHM is a main healer, but with your mindset they should only ever get a buff in healing, and to be honest that's really not the issue with WHM atm.

No I'm not trolling and I don't want a fairy or Crit Adlos. Thats Scholar's thing. But since you want to bring it up... Since we can't use Scholar abilities because "Looooool, I'm trolling." How about you take Clerics and Protect off of your hotbar? Those are white Mage abilities and you wouldn't be shit without them.

Putting Stoneskin 2 on a proc from whatever ability won't take shit away from Scholars or Astros.

My Bane and PoM ideas were just that, ideas. They're open to discussion and I hope something to my original idea actually happens.

i don't want to be turned into a shield-healer. instead of bane we have aero 3, holy and assize, that's our aoe-dps toolkit, we don't need to spread our DoTs. PoM is our strongest cd, and i don't want to waste my best oh shit button for some party buff... but don't get me wrong: a haste skill to buff the party would be nice.

we need new stuff wich fits the WHM playstyle, not overhaul the old skills and turn the class into something different.

The Stoneskin 2 proc wouldn't turn us into shield-healers. Stoneskin doesn't even heal.
I agree we don't need a Bane-like ability. I love it on Scholar and would love to always have it. I like the burst dps we give and understand that Bane would change that up some.
PoM is awesome. It would be even better if everyone else got in on the buff.

I don't think enhancing our existing skills would change our play style. I certainly don't want to change the feel of WHM.

Actually i feel like each healers should have their " cleric stance" so it would be more easy to determinate each one dps.
But yeah I'm not really okay with the idea of buffing Whm's personnal dps... But yeah why not a buff increasing everyone's main stat by 5% for 15 sec ? ( that's a serious idea)
