Yeah, I don't regret it at all either. I just found the psychological effect of doing it to be fascinating to observe. I think it was the combination of grinding with a time limit that caused a lot of people to spend more time on it than they otherwise normally would have. People became so focused on it to get it out of the way that they lost sight of everything else they enjoyed about the game. If this isn't a perfect example of the consequences of using grind to compensate for lazy game design I don't know what is.
