Yeah sometime the Ifrit instance has some lag, but most of the time everything is avoidable.

On a side note, when our LS has been teaching new members the fight... often they complain about lag and dodging being impossible. But after 5 fights, they can dodge everything. I think it's just the easiest excuse to make when something goes wrong. Basically if you stand on the cracks for an extra .5 - 1 seconds you will take damage.

Sometimes lag does happen, but 9/10 times you can dodge everything in the fight.
