LOL That honestly felt so awkward for me; my character isn't actually a guy of many words for sure but when he's against something you'd know; I guess even no response ( '...' ) passes for a YES LET'S DO THIS I AM SUPPORTING YOU IN THIS!! /facepalm

Yeah, it might be like that; though I honestly enjoy to see the responses npcs give in RPGs when they expect the MC to agree and you say the opposite, the responses are usually hilarious, though they don't let you progress if you don't select the right one, at least you get to see something different for a second.

Someone also had mentioned retainers and that actually got me thinking, our retainers *do* have more personality than our characters; would be nice if we could get some sort of option on CC for our own characters as we do retainers, so that they can at least have 'some' personality (probably a lot of work again with the dialogues and such but, one can dream)
