from what i have seen there are a lot of people having server lag. mobs will use a move and you will not see it on your screen till one or two seconds later. i know that SE has said that in 2.0 they will fix this problem. the thing is 2.0 is over a year away and the large part of content till then will be in instanced dungeons like Ifrit. for the first time i have seen what the lag can do. running away from eruptions i was almost at the back side of the ring of fire when i see eruption go off and yet i get hit and my dead body moves backwards sliding on the ground. im sure others have had same problems. i for-see such lag till next year at 2.0. just wonder if other people think SE should add a extra second or two to mobs moves that need to be avoided to compensate for server lag. i know some people will say they don't have a problem with server lag and they can easily do ifrit and other such content. others may say that doing such a thing will make the game too easy. i do feel that content should be hard and that adds to the feel of FF. but there is a problem SE knows about this problem. yet does not that the means to fix the problem till later. so adding a extra second or two to mob moves till the can fix the problem doesn't sound too much of a bad idea at least in my mind.
