WXHB Suggestion

I've strated using the new WXHB and i'm struggling a little. Since the game launched I've had my triggers grab the right/left set of 4 buttons on each side of the XHB like so



With the addition of the WXHB once you open up the option for 8 buttons on each side it only has the ability to select the entire left or right side and does not follow the pattern of my XHB. I'm sure in time I'll adjust, but I think it would ease usage if the option to have it function in the same manner as your XHB existed.

I don't even bother with this feature, I just use the extended hot bar holding down L2 + R2 or R2 or L2, I feel the need to double tap the triggers to bring them up feels clunky.

It is clunky but it's not a bad place to put stuff like limit breaks or food and consumables. Been quite a good place to put potions in palace of the dead for example

I think I fat fingered the tank limit while fate grinding the other day....

Swapping around using extended bars and going to hit something on my regular bars and it happened to be I let up off the buttons for extended and then hit again for the regular and ended up on the wxbar....

I'd also like to see a bit more customization in the WXHB.

Personally not using it now, but I fiddled around with it a bit today, and I could see it being useful if/when they add in some more actions in future expansions...

So with that in mind, my personal desire for it is this. Right now, you have two options with the WXHB. Either it pops up just one of the two segments on either side of a given XHB, or both. I actually have an issue with it when it's set to only one segment. When it's set to this state, the segment it causes to pop up will be the ones on the right side. So to number them 1, 2, 3, 4; segments 2 and 4 are the ones that pop up. I'd like to be able to have more control over this, so that I could have say segments 1 and 4 be the ones that are controlled instead.

I do like this feature, but your right. I wish the customization was pushed a little bit further and allow us to access the face buttons on the ride side of the XHB when I double tap R2 and when I double tap L2 I wanna access the d-pad buttons on the right side as well. For me it would work better play wise.

So far I kinda like it. It going to take some getting use to but I wanna use it more so I can see my defensive abilities and buffs while I'm fighting so I know when I can use them again and again and still stay competitive in a fight.

Another solution for this is to just make a regular hotbar, put those abilities on it that you want to watch the cooldowns on, then put that bar somewhere on the screen where you can see it but it's not in the way. (Mines in the. Bottom right corner, and set the buttons on it to be acticates with the f1-f9 keys on my keyboard)

Just an idea. If the wxhb ends up not working out for you.

Well I'm on PS4
But I can pull up a horizontal hot bar and set it somewhere on my screen. I just gotta play with this WXHB more.
