Lore Gears and Weapons

With the patch 3.4 making Lore gears much more easier to acquire, I've decided to upgrade my jobs's gears from Esoteric i211 to i240. The thing is that how do I acquire Lore weapons? I was told to do Alexander 8 nornal 7 times and I'd get mini-tomestones that I could exchange, along with 10 Roeana's token, but I did Alexander 8 nornal a few times and I got nothing from it. The boss has chests with 4 loots that we have to "need" to get. Void Arc gives you automatically what you need to upgrade 1 piece after you've killed the last boss, but Alexander 8 nornal gave me nothing of the sort. . So I'm really confused on how I'm supposed to get those mini-tomes or if it's something else entirely to get Lore weapons.

The second thing that I wonder is how do I upgrade Lore gears from i230 to i240? Which Alexander gives that? Is it once weekly or can we go there as often as we want?

Pay more attention to your inventory.

If you are in fact clearing Alex 8, each clear should be giving you a "Midan Gear". You can exchange 7 of these for a High-Capacity Tomestone (Bottom of the list on any of the 3 Midan Part Exchange menus), which along with the Rowena Tokens can be exchanged for weapons.

To upgrade these you go through the same process as upgrading Esoteric gear. However you require both the Farthing from a Void Ark clear, and a Penny from a Mhach clear, to exchange for a higher-tier of Illuminati whatever. Past that, it's the same process. Buy the upgrade item from the Rowena shop girl by exchanging the raid tokens, then use that upgrade item with the upgrade girl over by the crafting area.

All Items you need (Farthing, Penny and Midan Gear) are drops by clear. You get them direct into your inventory after the kill of the last boss, every time you clear it.
