I stat Det/Crit and find that that works really well for me. I'm always in a main heal role though, so I like having the high potency heals. If off-healing, I would maybe socket Acc until cap, then either crit or piety. (Only really experienced with socketing for SCH as an off-healer, which would be Acc/Crit.)

An update to the discussion: Dervy has posted updated 3.4 stat weights. They include healer DPS stat weights for WHM and SCH now, and his conclusion is "If you’re going to be hybrid healing/shielding, I’d recommend prioritising Crit over any of the other secondaries (with the exception of accuracy)". Just be aware... Dervy's statement/number there doesn't include any Astrologer computations and they don't include any healing or shielding computations for any of the classes. The crit statement is a blanket recommendation (which is sound) but has lots of holes that he is aware of.

At least this reaffirms my belief in heavy crit stacking.
