AST melds

Consequently my personal playstyle priority is:

SpellSpeed > Piety > Critical > Det

I agree with you. SS is a lot more rewarding this patch since they made enhanced benefic II a guaranteed crit. I\\'m also building my AST with SS and PIE, though PIE can be replaced with crit if it isn\\'t a problem. MP management isn\\'t a problem for me, but I still meld PIE for safety. I also like the HoT bonus from SS.

A little piety.

Those stat are good both for diurnal and nocturnal.

I'll have more than 1000 critical hit rate and ~900 piety with my Scripture pants. I'll never fall out of love with crit.

ast require u to be a turret and must always be casting, there is no idle time playing as an AST you are always doing something be it drawing cards, healing, dealing damage , you never stop at all until things are dead

-Spell speed
This helps both noct and diurnal stance, it allows you to cast faster and allows you to mkve around more quickly out of harms way , it also helps your HoTs and DoTs even in noct sect as you will deal damage with your conburst 1/2 and collective unconscious

-critical chance
This helps your healing and damage by a lot even know its random but it helps , but be warned you may need to pop in and out of cleric stance a lot if your criting frequently, so if you intend to stack this stat a lot you will need to learn to cancle casts and start a new spell Asap

So for astrologian the stats are

Mind > accuracy > crit/spell speed > piety >determination

Crit and speed is personal preference

Most of our dps comes from Malefic 2 though.

Just a small addition to melding accuracy: Melds are still ignored in ilvl/lvl synced content, so enjoy the base accuracy there.

When I still had a static, I pretty much just completely ignored acc for my AST.
As main healer in savage, I never had time to do more dps than keeping my DoTs up before I had to go back to healing anyway, and the DoTs don't need accuracy, so that just seemed like a waste of potential for other melds.

If you play all 3 healers in cutting-edge content, ignoring acc is obviously not an option, especially not for SCH. So..acc and crit I guess?

If you're a main healer, you don't need to meld ACC imo (a lot of people gonna say you do but you don't, hey blizzard reference here!).
The new raid tier is focus on healers check and you have to heal more that you ahd to do on the previous tier, so as a main healer (playing in diurnal i guess), meld some utility stats like crit det or SS (well, i would still prefer crit).
Dpsing is more an off-healer thing in my opinion, so if you're gonna be focused on healing, no one gonna blame you, but if you're raiding with the WHM/AST pair, you gonna have to ps sometimes so you might need the Acc cap

EDIT: don't wast acc on your accesories, you should go for Vita or crit
