Wired and wireless game controllers lagging

I didn't have a real big problem with this at all until now, this type of lag is like the buttons or joysticks on my controller is like getting Hi-jacked for a second or two which can resolve in death or getting hit really hard in the game which I really don't want. To give you an example of what is really going on, if I'm running straight and I don't think I am having any problems at all I let go of the joystick of running forward and it doesn't stop. For those who don't read the title, again this happens on both wired and wireless controllers, I have checked the video card settings which are working fine and even worked with V-sync and triple buffering to see if that stops the problem and that never did. I even checked to power levels on my USB ports and that checks out too, I have seven USB hubs on my computer and checked them all and it didn't even matter what I port or hub I put the controllers on it still did it. I Googled and YouTubed, that never done the trick.

There are other threads in the past that this has happened, and there was no fix for those at all, it just keeps cropping back it sounds like. But there is one thing that I have done that made it worse it seems like, my last wifi adapter was dying and I needed to replace it, I had a Hawking 300n http://hawkingtech.com/products/hi-g...ers/hwdn3.html
and moved over to a Alfa AC1200 UBS http://www.alfa.com.tw/products_show.php?pc=134&ps=208. The only thing I can think of is there can be some wifi lag on the adapter but that shouldn't be the problem when the whole game is a giant cookie and the controllers stop when the computer says so and I really think it might be somewhere with in the registry or the game itself that might have this problem.

Ill add one more thing to this to have you look at my rig to help with this. Thanks for looking at this.

    Found something that helps

This isn't what I call a complete fix but a work around, it still lags on but not as much. What I found was with the wifi adapter if I am running on 5Ghz my controllers lags more and I still have a really good connection to the internet and my ping is still fast on it, but if I run 2.5Ghz the lag lowers. I consider this improvement on my lag from a hiccup every minute to every hour. I don't know what will happen if I use my Ethernet because I am not anywhere near a Ether port, I now think it might be somewhere to a packet-loss, I am still scratching my head of how to this would work on messing up the game controller on a game. Most of us know what it really does when the computer disconnects from the server, it still works even with no one else is moving on your screen.

I have my 5Ghz working to a point that it wouldn't bother me as much, so the research that I have done it obviously is some type of interference with the wifi so I messed around with the wifi channels to see what works better, I used "wifi analyzer" on my phone to find what channels have the most interference then checked out which of the good channels that my controller didn't like, I found that the lower the Ghz the better it works with my game controllers but I'm not at my lowest because it did mess it so play around if you are having some of these problems. Still this is a work around not a fix.

Have you tried reinstalling the gamepad drivers?

If this was only happening on wireless id say to get a usb extention to move your bluetooth dongle for your controller away from your wifi dongle to reduce interference.

    Also what controller is it?
