Leveling with PotD

I think we can all agree that PotD is much easier and faster, but am I the only one who seems to think we're getting less XP for completion?

I used to get at least a full level between the last 20 floor, but last night it felt like I got maybe half a level from both combined.

Well, the XP you get depends on your level (and floor)!

I personally have noticed nothing amiss - from what I've seen I still get the same XP if I do the same floors with the same level. But I haven't written it down for comparison, so...might be wrong. If someone's got actual numbers, that'd be great.

i thought the exp you earned from the boss and all the enemies you killed a portion of it, attributed to the exp gains, didnt they lower the amount of enemies over all? Could be wrong feel free to correct me if i am

And that I will - You get the exact same XP no matter how much you kill in the palace. The same also goes for tomes by the way. What matters is your level outside of the palace and the floor set you are doing. It should be noted that the armory bonus applies, but it doesn't seem any other XP boosts do (although I only tried the ring from the Hall of the Novice).
