Is it just me or was the warriors of darkness arc rushed just for the griffin arc. There was so much more that could have been done with the warriors of darkness. You have the warriors of light working for the darkness that's literally a writers wet dream, because you can that the story any where from there!

that they're going to die for good when they return to their home plane. this is pretty much the last we're gonna see of them.

I didn't really mind the dialogue. What did you found so cringey?

It might just be the voice actors but they always come off SUPER melodramatic even for eorzean standards. I can deal with Aymeric giving a grand speech any time he wants to say "Hi" but these guys really dial it to 11.

Haven't done the main quest yet but I'm honestly happy to read we may be getting rid of the Warriors of Darkness as a plot point this patch.

They just didn't work for me as a threat. Part of the problem was SE's decision to design them after the trailer party. I just find it impossible to take anything darklander says seriously.

Since thread is marked for spoilers-

I didn't care for them either. And like, they were trying to suddenly write them off to be sympathetic all of a sudden with their "doomed world" dilemma but I can't even sympathize with them given over half of their members are constantly sneering and making other sinister facial expressions and taking glee in killing people from our world.

I was all too happy to be able to put them down in the fights. Didn't even feel sorry for them or their fate. Good riddance.

I did love how they got characterized and the reasons why they're doing everything. I agree it was a little rushed, but at the same time it felt like a good way to end their arc.
