Think we'll ever be able to do instances with our squadron?

At first, I was opposed to the idea that we could use the squadron in a similar fashion to the trust NPCs from XI, and I still am. I don't like things that discourage grouping with others and don't want to be able to clear current content with this new feature, but I am all for it if the devs can come up with instances similar to MSQ solo battles that involve you and your squad. Bring back that lv30 class quest music 'From Fear to Fortitude'!

I think it is so cool how you are given the rank of commander, and how much these recruits look up to 'the legend' that is you. I think it would be so awesome to participate in battles with them, and all the comments they would make about how the stories don't give justice to actually seeing you in action. You know if you were one of them, you would want to see that so badly

I don't think squadrons will impact group content that much but I do expect us to have missions we can do with our squadrons eventually. I will be very interested going forward to see what it is.

The Alliance has been pretty much dealing with policing internal issues for quite a while. I hope that as our squadron improves we will get the chance to use it in more proactive roles. For example, assuming we have Garlemald as a major foe next expansion, having missions where we lead our unit strikes against Garlean outposts or defend locations against Garlean attacks could be really interesting.
