What is it with Sensitive People and Raids?

I've been wondering this for a while now, and to be honest the main issue I've seen is that there's always that one person who wants to point the finger at someone and say they're causing the issue when there isn't any at all. Again, even a squabble among tanks can lead to a kick(and considering I defended one in terms of how he was doing).

Creator and any other raid in particular at close to minimum iLv is SUPPOSED TO BE A CHALLENGE.

I'm not trying to sound mean or anything, but the matter of fact is that every raid patch, or Primal Patch, there just seems to be more and more people kicking just because they can't perform to others' expectations when it's a learning experience overall(and you've only stepped your foot in the door only to have it crushed by someone else).

This has always been the case. People always rush into new content and have little patience in helping others.
Since t1-t5 success in raiding is 50% knowledge of mechanics and 50% in individual skill and party communication (i would say 100% communication) which is likely something that can only be achieved in pf,where you create a party in your own terms(no bonus etc) and surely in statics.

Of course EVERYONE makes mistakes even among top-class parties but from my experience even the tiniest mistake in late content has high chances of leading to a wipe. So blaming others and being toxic is not the way to go and i always try to avoid such people.

Here is a typical sample of what I experience time and time again in every raid if it is new or not.

Xephatol first time for me Tuesday night. I enter and say it's my first time. Only thing one guy said was, "Not our first time." Tank and others speed off and hit all the trash groups up to the boss which was fine, typical useless trash mobs. Arrive at boss, they attack immediately and I just "wing it", trying to watch/hit/avoid what they do, learn mechanics along the way and not die myself.

The same thing happened through the whole instance. Not 1 word of pre-boss info to me. At the end I said ty and reminded them to maybe say few words at bosses for a while as it's new to help new people aclimate. I received a 3-word response from one guy, "That was obvious."

This is why I avoid any total pug groups period unless I HAVE to do content to progress. Unfortunately today, I had to do it to complete the new story. This appears to be a very unhelpful, sarcastic game population overall.

Personally, I don't see why people would want to be adviced when they're running new content for the first time on the first week of a new patch. I myself don't want to know anything and that's why I'll go in blind with people who also don't know anything. Why spoil the fights and their mechanics for yourself? For the same reason, I also don't say anything about the mechanics of new fights unless specifically asked - I don't want to be the one who spoils the fights.

And then again, if you want to know stuff beforehand, why not do the research by yourself instead of expecting your party members do it for you? Of course if I get a dungeon or a fight with someone saying "I'm new and would appreciate any boss tips", I don't mind typing in a couple of words, but since most stuff in the game for DF content is really self-explanatory, I think it's best they'll just see it for themselves. If they mess something up, what's the big deal?

Don't automatically assume I didn't look for info Taika. All I found at the time was a sped up vid with no sound. You are most ikely among the myriad of players that faceroll every run and speak to noone. I didn't expect anything but a couple tips at bosses but that's the way it is here. Toxic attitudes if there is a mistake otherwise silence in every run. Common sense would dictate that if someone in the party had run it, being brand new content, they would ask if anyone needed info at boss. I told them, they remained silent.

99 percent of the time im on discord with friends, fc mates or other people in the party, usually someone has to remind me about stuff in party chat in those runs as im usually just focused on rotations or stuff, esp if im tanking, not really our fault that a in game voice isnt offered but thats how it is.

Haha yeah talking about assuming things....

FYI just the other day we had an A9N run with many players who had no experience or info whatsoever. We did not tell them the mechanics beforehand (because they didn't ask and we specifically didn't want to spoil), but instead just tried the fight. After a couple of wipes we started to give hints to specific things, and the group progressed further, until we finally beat it after I think 5 tries. We had a good atmosphere in the group, we were laughing and using emotes, and after the kill everyone posted their thanks and goodbyes. Personally I believe this was much better experience than us just explaining everything before even a first try, since the party members new to the fight would have missed the possibility of trying it out for themself and trying to figure out the mechanics.

To be fair the only information new people need in Xelphatol is "kill the war balloons."

For raid its because people want and expect to play with players with similiar experience and skill.

For dungeons and I dont really understand whats problem to go any dungeon on blind. Since lvl 15 they are all generic always repeating dungeons with just new graphic.

"Hello, first time here" seems to be excuse for low overall performance. Because from my experience people who tend to said that are playing like they play first time not only dungeon but their job also.

I dont really understand what is really need to be explained. Avoid aoes? Kill boss? Kill adds? Repeat.

I disagree on the explanations prior to the fights, but don't agree with what they said at all. It might just be my preferred way of playing, but I enjoy learning the mechanics w/o anybody explaining them to me or reading a guide before-hand.
