Its a sword first and gun second. It actually has nothing to do with shooting, IMO. Well if you take Lightning's gunblade yes you could say musketeer. [...]

I think a Gunblade should have its own class. The Hyperion.

In the end it's of course the business of the Devs how they balance and design it.
Taking the Musketeer as a basis was just an idea, i can imagine a new class as well, sure.
Let's just admit that the gunblade has its fanbase and several people would be glad to be able to level and play a class/job with it as main weapon.
