Correct me if i'm wrong put these gunblades don't shoot bullets but magic shots like Van darnus Gunlance.

Factually no idea but I was under the impression it was tech not magic. Not that Nael didnt have magic or anything.
Really looks like tech (has all the normal gun parts).
they removed ammo so we don't have to worry about arrows and bullets.
First let us see the coming of new mage class, then let come the melee class that will come along. Then we all can assume wich class and job should get the gunblade.
Passing by this, rdm, sam, blu, gla, pld, war, nin, "thf" they all use "swords" type weapons. And the other class still used daggers has main attack, So what we are locking is a class/job that is an hybrid. That can use a sword has main attack and use bullets has damage dealer trigger.
Assuming that, Yoshi's need to creat a new job with triggering conditions for the use of the gun in the blade while attacking! So the issue is not wich job will get a gunblade, the issue standing here, is what new class/job can be made to meet the conditions of the use of a gunblade!
I also would like to see the coming of the a few mage jobs, RDM and BLU, along with the melee jobs, THF and NIN.
Start the petition.

class would definitely be Musketeer.
and the guild is already existing.
when talking about the design of the gunblade the focus could still be the gun so it makes sense to use the gunblade for the advanced job of the Musketeer.
like the Velvet Nightmare in FFVII Advent children as example:
okay class would be Musketeer.
but how to call the job?
Corsair? Gunner? Gunblader?
Make suggestions! =)

I think it would be appropriate if its class/job was named something relating to the Garleans. Magitech Knight, Soldier, Legionaire, Judge.class would definitely be Musketeer.

I dont think Gunblade should have anything to do with musketeer. Its a sword first and gun second. It actually has nothing to do with shooting, IMO. Well if you take Lightning's gunblade yes you could say musketeer. But that thing is a high tek blade able to transform into guns lol. If we take VIII Gunblade as an example, a Gunblade user is a sword user.class would definitely be Musketeer.

The gun is used at the impact of the sword from close range to to inflict various effect like explosions for example.
The attack could be a mix of slashing and blunt or piercing like that.
I think a Gunblade should have its own class. The Hyperion.
