I believe, the initial recruit you need to recruit to even access the system should not be RNG based.
The very first one required to even access the system should be guaranteed from your first challenge log, the rest can drop back to rng.
You don't want the possiblity of someone cmpleting the entire challenge log and not getting a recruit, thus being locked out of the new system for up to a week...

Honestly I am inclinded to think recruits have a time limit. If you don't recruit them fast enough I guess they might go away?
Still, even though the odds may be astronomical, it probably shouldn't be left to chance on the one you are required to get to start using the system.
What a difference a day makes. 3 levels put me from "not being ready." to "bound to succeed.". Probably because I hit all of the prereq mission stats.Hi guys,
I just hit level 20 with my squadron members and it unlocked a new mission. The mission is lvl20 and is way too difficult for my squad to handle. There is no mention of MY rank going up, however completing this mission will increase the rank of my squad. More to come as I level.

You're one heck of a lucky person, ive been doing ti from day 1 and its still only around lvl 17. They failed the lvl 10 supply wagon mission, even though all stats were over the requirement haha
I've yet to see any concrete reward listed for this. My second in command potato says something about risk vs reward, and I couldn't understand what either the risk or reward could be. Now it looks like you can fail a mission. Is that all? I was kind of hoping I could send my lalafail caster out alone on a mission never to return (since I can't find a way to simply remove them).
I guess the "higher chance of getting a new recruit" item can be considered a reward, but it still just feeds back into the system, like squad exp. Are there any tangible rewards that have an effect outside of the squad room?
Completed 8 or 9 challenge logs and still no new recruits since the first one. Yay RNG.
