    This has been a pretty big issue for awhile. Because of the inconvenience of how it is to break crystals down, I've more or less been going out and farming specific mobs that drop 6shards ea. for my shards. Its a lot more time efficient(999/90min or less) then going through the tedium of fishing up first, and breaking them down. Or going through the extreme long process of making fine sand. wish they'd do something about it ugg

    reading the patch you can trade them for materia ftw..... as if we need that . i was hoping for something usefull , like gear or something.
