In what reality does it make sense to allow crafters and gatherers the ability to spend guild marks on gear, but remove guild marks completely for battle classes? I shouldn't have to point out the issues that would cause.
Credits to go toward those achievements that screwed over DoL/DoH50. 10 per "gather" seems fair.
I like the idea to be able to get GC seals with GM but I would also like a one time NPC that let you get old seasonal event items in exchange for Guild Marks, like the swimsuits and such. Gil would be nice too.![]()
The alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
I dont see the problem here. Battle classes have no need for marks. They can get gear through leve rewards. But regardless take gear out of my idea, but let them exchange marks for most mats. Its not like mats are incredibly abundant atm. A friend of mine cant level his weaver with the money he has cause theres not any mats in the wards, aside very overpriced items.
convert them 10:1 into seals.
Special Guildleves that give increased rewards (like gil, EXP, equipment, and etc.)
And maybe you could spend marks to get a better buff for crafting facilities, or DoW/DoM/DoL can get special buffs for their things.
EDIT: Or trade them in for titles, crafting materials, and class specific equipment.
Peach Parfait/Khulan Angura on Gilgamesh
I see that everybody is worried about a 1:1 ratio conversation, and the amount of time put in to gathering GM.
But lets say we forget the reward we can exchange it for is not 1:1, would you be okay with it? I definitely am, I am pretty easy-going after all.
i've been farming seals for 6 hours. got like 2300 total from level 40 leves.
to get 2300 marks was required like 1 leve of 4 minutes.
stop pretending 1:1 conversion from guild marks to seals, it's out of the world. 10:1 conversion seems fair and would be appreciated.
Let us trade them for Company Seals or Gill.
Discard Guild marks. Convert 1 GM to 2 gils.
