Think about the implications?
It's a game, people chose the way they wanted to be projected in-game after the offers we had when creating a character, it is only fair that we get the chance to change after they implement more offers, especially given that we are going to go through the character creation screen once again to update our characters for the 2.0 servers.

I won't be changing gender or race, maybe a few tweaks.

Actually, I was married to someone who came out as transgender, and was very happy that she had the option to change her male tauren main on WoW to something female that fit her better. People play MMOs a long time, and people change and grow. Especially with games like FFXI and FFXIV which are designed around having one character instead of a stable of alts, I think the ability to (infrequently) change otherwise immutable race/gender/name options is a good idea. And I'm thinking as much about the 22 year old who is kind of embarrassed by the character they made back when they were 14 as my ex who changed genders.

P.S. Sorry Cendres, I'll send flowers to your funeral.
