Remember the opening movie of 3.0 where Ishgard is razed by the Dravanian horde and Dragoons are flying around killing Wyverns with DKs firing everywhere? I wanted to believe that was the Final Steps of Faith, but the horde never attacked Ishgard at the end of 3.3 (and there were no Dragoons mobilized in the cutscenes). I want to believe the Griffon will use the eyes and be revived as Nidhogg and mobilize the horde to attack Ishgard for realsies and the final trial of 3.x will be an in-game version of the opening CS.

Also where there's Omega....there's Shinryu. Maybe Middy's final form, or one of his offspring yet to be revealed?
