In addition, is 3.4 the last pack of Heavensward? If yes, we fought throughout the whole version, to get rid of the disaster caused by the dragon war (or "dragon eyes" in fact), to bring about peace and revolution to Ishgardians, then? They tell us "the dragon eyes are still making troubles in the next version"...
As "warrior of light", never mind being busy, I just er, feel a little discouraged about my working results HAHA...

Hope no need to beat Nidhogg the third time.

Even with the eyes reappearing, I doubt they're going to bring Nidhogg back. The cutscene after Final Steps of Faith made it pretty clear that his vengeful spirit had at last been put to rest.

So what I hope doesn't happen, is that Griffon winds up using the eye's raw power to betray the Ascians. ie: EXACTLY WHAT THORDAN DID.
If that were revisited, I'd definitely call it laziness.

How else will Lahabrea be release from the eye?

It's sad that the WoD plotline was rushed and ended in 3.4. After know more about the worlds, the conflict with Ala Mhigo and Garleans seem pretty lackluster in comparison.

I feel compelled to mention that the removal of the eyes was a complete success with no downsides, and that it was Aymeric who suggested throwing them into the mists beneath Ishgard instead of just destroying them once Estinien was freed.

I don't know how the Omega Weapon plot will work out...

But I'm guessing the Ala Mhigo stuff is more going to be at least part of the setup for 4.0, and if they really decide to use Nidhogg's Eyes as a plot device again whoever is The Griffin will likely be 4.0's main villain...

Still, it's funny that Alphinaud was bent on the idea of removing the eyes but he never stopped for a second to consider what to do if they succeded. And he had plenty of time to think about it and people to consult about it.
